• Account data — your email address and authentication credentials (password hash or OAuth token).
• Content data — the Things you create, including titles, ratings, notes, categories, dates, and visibility settings.
• Settings data — your personalisation preferences such as theme, language, and custom Vibes.
• Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, timestamps) retained for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate you and secure your account.
• Store and sync your Things across devices.
• Enable the Friends feature — sharing Things you explicitly mark as "shared" with accepted Friends.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the service.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure providers (hosting, database) necessary to operate the service, and only under appropriate data processing agreements. No personal data is sold or shared for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings, which will permanently remove all your data within 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. Sensitive areas of the app are additionally protected by WebAuthn (passkey / biometrics).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
